Queeny Park

This is another place that's almost sacred to me.

There's a vibrant tranquility, a serene wildness.

Let's go.

Mulberries coming in

Busy bee

So lush in the park's interior

Can't get to the creek that way

I can see it

Not much of a trail

First encounter of the evening

Must be young

She steps away

Two more further on

Being watched

Still watching

The creek I never reached

Springing from the ravine

Many tranquil nooks

Cardinal escaping

FYI

That white speck near the middle was a little moth who followed me around through the entire wildflower area.  I was ready for eagles to arrive, but they never did.

Hi!

Several of these guys were frolicking, but they'd only land one at a time.

I hear that finding feathers is good luck.

Bummer

I was ready to be sad, but oddly enough, the egg on the ground near the fallen nest turned out to be made of plastic.

Looking down over a bridge

Nice bendy tree

Nessie!

Dragonfly!

Cool!

Danger!

A mini bayou

Second encounter

Much closer

So long

A very thoughtful gesture for their four-legged guests

Mushrooms!

Cool stump!

Awesome!

Such nicely kept gardens!

Ornamental peppers!

Wow!

A few more treasures
